KIDS' BAPTISM CLASS “Preparing for Baptism” Is your child ready to be baptized?  Here is a one session class for 1st grade through Middle School that will help you prepare them. Sunday, January 18, 2009 during the 6:00 PM service in Room 102. To sign up contact the Children's Ministry office at 425-488-4121 or email your RSVP to kids@chccbw.org. One parent must attend the class with the student.
KIDS' WORSHIP Canyon Hills' Kids' Worship is over 100 first through fifth graders singing and worshipping. They meet Sunday mornings during both services as part of our Children's Ministry program. During their season (Sept-June) they sing the second Sunday of each month in our main services. For more information contact the Children's Ministry Office at kids@chccbw.org
SONLIFE (4th-5th Grade Ministry)
SonLife is a four-layer ministry developed specifically for 4th-5th graders! Each level of ministry is designed to help pre-teen kids build relationships with one another and grow in Christ from their first connection with Canyon Hills.
Connect–Monthly pre-teen events designed to encourage students to bring their friends and help them connect with other students and leaders in our ministry. The setting includes fun activities like skating, bowling, snow days and holiday events, students begin to develop key relationships with other students and leaders. Celebrate–Sunday mornings during both worship services, 3rd-5th graders begin with their own worship and celebration time and then join a small group Bible study during the second half of the service. Our Celebration Service meets in the Elementary Chapel at 9:00 and 11:00  am every Sunday. Core–Wednesday nights are designed to provide a more in depth discipleship for students and to build strong relationships with one another. Within this strong community of relationships with other students and godly leaders, our kids are encouraged to get involved with lots of hands on ministry opportunities. This Core level of SonLife meets every Wednesday at 7 pm in the Elementary Chapel.   Challenge–4th-5th graders will be challenged to ‘go’ as they participate in events and programs centering on Evangelism, Service and Missions! Everything from learning to share their faith, serve in the community and in the church, to learning first hand about missions in our Summer Missions Trip and a Kids’ Missions Trip to Chile!
1ST-3RD GRADE Sunday Celebrations! Every Sunday morning during both the 9:00 and 11:00 services, 1st-3rd graders begin by participating in hands-on Bible learning in small age appropriate classes. During the second half of each service they move to a lively worship celebration time just for them! We begin each service in the Elementary Classrooms. KIDS' SUMMER CAMP Kids who are completing 3rd-5th grades this year will be able to join us for an awesome summer camp at Camp Berachah! Activities include swimming, go-carts, canoes, mountain bikes, rock wall, camp fire, great chapel times and good times with new friends.
