MOPS - MOPS is a down-to-earth program for mothers of preschoolers and their children (birth through kindergarten). MOPS offers encouragement and support to moms during this challenging season of life and parenting. Children have fun in the MOPPETS program while moms hear from guest speakers, complete a craft project, and enjoy adult conversation. Contact Christine Reber for more information at 425-585-0303. | |

Embracing Grace: A Study in Romans Led by Jean Helm, this class is offered Wednesdays at 9 AM and 7 PM starting September 17.
Are you trying hard to be “good enough” for God? Have you gotten there yet? If not, then “Embracing Grace” is for you! Join other women as we study the book of Romans and discover God’s plan to get you “right” with Him. This study will answer questions such as: What does it mean to have “faith” in God? If I am a Christian, then why do I still sin? Will God stop loving me? If we are God’s children, then why do we suffer? And more! God has many wonderful things to say to you; will you receive them? Embrace God’s grace as you turn the pages of Scripture and encounter what Martin Luther describes as the “Most Important Letter in the New Testament” that should be read “every day” and known “word for word”.
To register, contact Leisa Chaney at 425-488-4121, or sign up between Sunday services at the women’s counter beginning August 31. Cost for materials is $5, scholarships are available and the study is free to guests of Canyon Hills’ members. Child care is available.

Join MOPS in
2008 – 2009
to explore: |
 | This theme equips moms to learn more about themselves as they go through the adventure of motherhood. They will celebrate and embrace the fun in the experiences, even in the midst of daily mom life that stretches them emotionally and spiritually. As the year unfolds, MOPS will examine the practical aspects of the theme and then move toward the spiritual truth. The knowledge that God is with us on the mothering adventure gives hope. God’s love is big enough for the magnitude of the adventure! Click here for a registration form.

Meals of Love

And live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. Eph. 5:2 (NIV)
