Ministry Details: Juan is an elder in the Guatire church and Petra is a deaconness. They travel from Guatire to Catia la Mar each week and spend 3-4 days in Catia la Mar doing discipleship, visitation, evangelism, and general encouragement of the believers. Juan also trains several men to lead the small group Bible studies during the week. In addition, they are strategically involved in activities with adults and youth on Saturdays. |

FIELD REPORT FROM JUAN MACHADO – AUGUST 2008
VENEZUELA – CATIA LA MAR CHURCH
Hello, brothers, may the grace and love of God' continue to overflow in your hearts. I give thanks to God praying for you that God continue to prosper in your lives and knowledge of God. Brothers you are a great blessing for my family and also for the church where God has put me to serve. I am one of those who think that all of Venezuela should be grateful that you want to participate in the progress of the gospel of Jesus Christ in this country.
This church is grateful to the Lord for you, because I tell them of the way you support us and have been faithful to the Lord in such support.
There were recently baptized a family, father, mother, three sons, son-in-law, aunt and 4 other people
We are working on the Outreach we will start on Monday with some clinics and volleyball, basketball, and a Bible school, God willing we will do this at the stadium in the city, we already have permission.
Pray for us so that God will help us in the choice of leaders.
I will soon send you photos because now if I have a camera, thank God.
In another week I will send you information on the progress of the Outreach.

Hola mis hermanos, la gracia de Dios y su amor sigan rebosando sus corazones. Le doy gracias a Dios orando por ustedes para que Dios siga prosperando sus vidas y en el conocimiento de Dios. Hermanos ustedes son de gran bendición para mi y familia y también para la iglesia donde Dios me ha puesto a servir. Yo soy de los que pienso que toda venezuela debe estar agradecida de que ustedes quieran participar de el progreso del evangelio de Jesucristo en este país.
Esta iglesia está agradecida al Señor por ustedes, porque yo les hablo de la manera como ustedes nos apoyan y han sido fieles al señor en ese apoyo.
Hace poco bautizamos una familia padre, madre, tres hijos, yerna, tía y otras 4 personas
Estamos trabajando en el impacto, empezaremos el lunes con unas clinicas de bolibol y basket y una escuela bíblica, esto lo haremos Dios mediante en el estadio de la ciudad, ya tenemos el permiso.
Oren por nosotros para que Dios nos ayude en la escogencia de lideres.
Pronto les enviaré fotos porque ahora si tengo camara gracias a Dios.
La otra semana les mando información del progreso del impacto.
