Kids Outreach Program

Global and local outreach is a response to the Great Commission from Jesus in Matthew 28:19-20,

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Additionally, we want to follow Jesus’ example of serving others in Matthew 20:28,

“…even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

Both are at the heart of our program for kids. We believe kids can share the good news and serve others in Bothell, in Wenatchee, and around the world!

As kids are a part of our program, we want them to develop a biblical worldview by what they learn in classes, electives, and serving trips. Our prayer is that kids will develop God’s heart for their next-door neighbors and for the world!

 

Kids Offering Project

Every two months we partner with a different organization to show kids local and global needs as well as strategies used to reach families with the gospel of Jesus Christ. By praying and giving, kids can come alongside Christians organizations and churches locally and around the world in practical ways!

Grow

On Wednesday nights throughout the school year, we provide 4th-5th grade life groups to help students become better disciples of Jesus Christ by growing in their relationship with God and others. They learn practical outreach skills that we use on our Wenatchee Trip which includes puppets, games, Spanish, and balloons.

Kids Outreach Class

Every Spring 4th-5th graders can attend a 5-week class on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:30pm which will give them a Biblical perspective on culture, help them see the World through God’s eyes, prepare their hearts to serve in Wenatchee, and inspire them to start growing and serving now! The class is free. Registration usually opens in April. The class starts at the end of April or early May.

Kids Wenatchee Trip

This is a 4-day serving trip at the end of June for any 4th-5th grader who has regularly attended GROW during the school year (at least 3 times). Students will lead an outreach at a local park, serve in 4-5 local ministries, enjoy pool time each day, and participate in times of sharing and prayer! This is a great first-time serving trip for kids!
