Our Senior Adults Ministry
We believe senior adults (60+) are vital to the life of our church. A unique group of people in the mature stage of their lives, they are growing through study of God’s Word, service and fellowship.
WHY THE NAME ENCORE?
Just because we’re getting older, it does not mean we’re done growing, and God is not done using us to serve and reach the world with the Good News. He’s calling us back up on stage to join Him and others for an “Encore,” for His glory!
MEETINGS EVERY TUESDAY IN THE AUDITORIUM
This fun-loving group meets Tuesdays at 10am for worship, fellowship and a verse-by-verse study of books of the Bible. They never stop striving together to be more complete in Jesus Christ. COFFEE/FELLOWSHIP/GAMES: THURSDAY, May, 16th.
If you are 60 or older, please join us from 10AM to Noon. Join us for coffee, fellowship and games. You can come hangout with friends and watch or participate. Either way, we’d love to see you here. There are all types of board games, cards and Bingo and the basketball court will be open if you want to shoot some hoops. Snacks will be served.
PACEMAKER WALKING MORNING
Encore! Walk at CHCC on Friday mornings from 8:30 AM – 10:30 AM rain or shine because we are inside. We have a quarter mile walk set up do. If you walk it four times, you’ve done a mile! Water provided. Come join the fun and get your cardio on! Meet in the lobby.
