Canyon Hills Community Church was planted in 1995 by our founding Pastor Steve Walker, and his wife, Tammi. The church started out meeting in Canyon Park Junior High, but it wasn’t long before the church outgrew the school and moved to our current location in Canyon Park.
Flash forward to today and our community has grown to over 4,500 people on a weekend, and more than 200 Life Groups functioning throughout the week. Though the size of our church family has changed, our core values have remained the same. Canyon Hills Community Church exists to make more and better disciples of Jesus Christ.
We desire to worship and make famous the name of the one and only true God. We strive to meet the needs of people in our community as well as people in over 25 countries worldwide. We do this through our four weekly worship services, our community food bank, ministries to widows and single mothers, the Canyon Hills School of Discipleship, various benevolence programs, a biblical counseling center, and our global outreach partnerships.
