TRANSCRIPT: “We believe that for Jesus, in John, chapter 6, the eating and drinking of his flesh and blood was metaphorical and was about believing. He promises eternal life to those who believe in him. This is why he instituted the Lord’s Supper. So the two ordinances or sacraments of the church, baptism and the Lord’s Supper, are intended to be a ceremony for our public confession or celebration of our faith, our belief in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.“
