Just because we’re getting older, it does not mean we’re done growing, and God is not done using us to serve and reach the world with the Good News. He’s calling us back up on stage to join Him and others for an “Encore,” for His glory! We believe senior adults (60+) are vital to the life of our church. A unique group of people in the mature stage of their lives, they are growing through study of God’s Word, service and fellowship.
This fun-loving group meets Tuesdays at 10am for worship, fellowship and a verse-by-verse study of books of the Bible. They never stop striving together to be more complete in Jesus Christ. We’re excited for Encore Summer Camp! This year’s theme, REFUEL, focuses on staying spiritually filled so we don’t run on empty. Join us for worship, teaching, fun games, and snacks. Camp runs June 16–18 from 10am–noon at the church, and you’re welcome even if you can’t attend all three days. Cost is $20 and includes snacks and a REFUEL t-shirt.
Encore Events exist to provide a welcoming place for social events, educational opportunities, and fun for people over 60. These events could include Will and Trust seminar, Aquasox games, Trips to Leavenworth, Movie Days, Summer BBQS and more.
