God has opened a door for gospel ministry in South Everett, and we are stepping forward in faith to labor in His harvest. Please prayerfully consider committing to give above and beyond your normal tithes so that we can make more and better disciples of Jesus in South Everett.
PLEASE Give on December 7
For 30 years, Canyon Hills has been committed to making more and better disciples of Jesus. Now, God has opened the door for a second campus in South Everett—allowing us to reach more people while carrying the same teaching, values, and mission that define our church.
The South Everett Campus is located just off I-5 at the 128th Street exit on the northwest side. It shares a parking lot with the Holiday Inn, La Quinta Inn, Kids Country Daycare, and the casino. The campus is approximately 15 minutes from our Bothell location.
Take a look at the photo-realistic renderings that our Architects have created to show what the South Everett Campus will look like.
You can participate by making a pledge with the amount you plan to give over the next year. You can give weekly, monthly, twice monthly, or with a one-time gift. Everyone participating is being asked to bring a “first fruits” gift on Sunday, December 7. You can give here.
Over the last several years, our church has been generously giving toward a second campus. As a result, we were able to pay cash for the building and have the ability to fund the remodel. In an effort to have the ability to expand ministry both in Bothell and Everett and beyond, while not exhausting our current funds, the church is being asked to contribute toward the second campus with “over and above” giving from December 7, 2025 through December 7, 2026.
Plans are already underway to open a food bank in the shopping center adjacent to the South Everett building. We hope to open several months ahead of the campus launch as we seek to minister to those in the South Everett community.
The campus will be called Canyon Hills Community Church: South Everett Campus.
Our current campus will be called Canyon Hills Community Church: Bothell Campus.
The purpose of the second campus is to make more and better disciples of Jesus.
At this point, we see that happening in two key ways: First, by reaching the South Everett community: an area with a clear need for a gospel-centered church. Second, by encouraging as many people as possible to transition from our Bothell campus, creating space to continue making more and better disciples in Bothell.
Our goal is for Sunday services at the South Everett Campus to reflect the same worship experience as the Bothell Campus. We plan to have live preaching at both campuses, using our current teaching team and expanding as needed, with Pastor Koby alternating between both campuses. Live worship will also take place at both campuses, using our current worship leaders and volunteers.
While nothing has been finalized, we will most likely begin with two Sunday morning services. While exact times have not yet been determined, the current plan is to stagger service times with the Bothell Campus to best support families and volunteers.
At this point, we plan to continue all five Sunday services at the Bothell Campus even after the South Everett Campus launches. We will evaluate attendance patterns and ministry needs over time, but for now, there are no plans to reduce services in Bothell. Our desire is to create more room for people to hear the gospel and grow in their faith—both in Bothell and South Everett.
At this point, no, the South Everett Campus will not become an independent church. It will remain a part of Canyon Hills Community Church and under the leadership of our elders. While the Lord may open that door in the future, it is not something we are considering now.
The auditorium will seat approximately 700 adults, with additional dedicated space for kids and student ministries. For comparison, the Bothell auditorium seats 1100 comfortably.
We are currently in the permit process and hope to receive our building permit before the end of 2025. Once that is received, construction will take approximately seven to nine months. The campus will open when construction is complete.
Initially, we will be focusing on Sunday morning services in South Everett and leave all other programming to the Bothell campus. Once we open the campus, we will have a better idea of what additional programming is needed in South Everett.
