Young Adults Ministry
Are you a young adult aged 18-29 who has graduated high school? No matter your stage of life—college, workforce, single, or married—you are welcome to join Canyon Hills Young Adults Ministry. Every Thursday, we gather together for Young Adults Nights and throughout the week, we also have Life Groups that meet to grow together in biblical community.

Young Adults Pastor
My wife Claire and I moved here from South Carolina in April of 2023. I have the joy of leading our Young Adults (18-29) Ministry here at Canyon Hills. I grew up in an Army family moving across the country until I landed at Columbia International University in South Carolina. It was there that I met the love of my life Claire and where I discovered my passion for ministry. After serving a short stint in the Army Reserve Chaplaincy and founding a Young Adult Ministry in SC, Claire and I knew the Lord was leading us to plant more permanent roots in ministry…and he led us here to the Evergreen State! I love talking about my savior, my family, and Army Football (Beat navy)!

Since I moved here in June of ‘25, the Lord has been kind to introduce me to such an intentional young adult community here at Canyon Hills. It’s an honor to serve as the ministry assistant and continue to grow and be encouraged by the family he has blessed me with here.
I moved from sunny Southern California, but the Lord has carried me to a few places like Alaska and Idaho before landing here in Washington. It’s been so sweet to see how faithfully He leads each step of the way. I really enjoy being outside, and believe the Lord reveals so much of His character through His creation. So I have lots of stories from time spent on trail that I’d love to chat about with you! I also spend much of my time writing about these things, and usually have something I’m working on. I look forward to seeing the Lord reveal himself more through the young adult community and beautiful creation of this Evergreen state!

Worship Leader
I grew up in Bothell WA—literally down the street! I am so grateful to have had an early introduction to Christ by my family. Jesus saved me in elementary school, at a summer camp where his Spirit transformed well known stories to well-believed truths in my heart. Music has been in my life just about as long as Jesus has.
I started piano in kindergarten, got bored (shocker), and then spent the next several years bouncing between instruments. Don’t get me wrong, I have always loved music, I just craved for the music I played to be fueled by purpose. Serving on the Varsity worship team here was how the Lord provided that. As a high school senior intern, I fell in love with leading worship, and eventually pursued a Bachelor’s in Worship Arts. I graduated from Grand Canyon University in 2024, just a few months before marrying my lovely wife, Bella. I first came on staff at Canyon Hills as a Worship Resident, and now I get the joy of serving as a full-time Worship Leader. When I’m not in the office, I’m hanging out with Bella and our son Elijah. I’m a simple man: give me a good burger and a fun game night, and we will be best friends for life. Bonus points if you vibe with Star Wars (my obsession stopped being “cute” years ago, causing my dog’s name to be Lucas and robot to live in my office). YA is one of my favorite places to be. I love how hungry this ministry is for God, how sincere the worship is, and how quickly people become family. I’m humbled to be part of it and excited to keep growing, serving, and worshiping alongside this incredibly genuine community.
